Distilled spent wash passes through decanter by continuous separation process whereby product (DWGS) separates out. DWGS (by product) receives in insoluble form.
It has 50 to 60 % moisture therefore this DWGS directly goes for drying into a ring dryer having air temperature 180 deg C and outlet temperature 90 deg C. After this process DDGS comes in powder form and packed in jute bags or HDPC Bags. The DWGS material is feed into the disintegrated fan by a screw conveying system with feed flow control system & conveyed in the Flash Duct with dry air at temperature of 180°c.Atmospheric air is heated to the required temperature into the steam radiator by the steam or Thermic fluid oil heater and is used as drying media. The DWGS feed comes in contact with hot air and gets dried as it travels along the flash duct.
Moist heavy particles are separated in the classifier from the dried powder and are recycled back into the disintegrator. The dry powder is separated in a high efficiency cyclone separator and discharged through rotary air lock valve.
Whole drying Process runs in vacuum so that the protein content will not be denatured and quality of the product doesn’t affect. All dried product accumulate & convey with help of pneumatic conveying system as well as reduce the product temperature which is suitable for packaging and then for storage. The entire operation of the system is controlled through PLC control system.
